How many Secret Formulas can we find? Our list continues to grow, but I am afraid today’s installment is not really a formula but more of an attribute. You know I like attributes. And you know that I have tried my best to define them for what I now call NonDē cinema, which closely resembles was once sort of described as “indie” — although it covered a far wider swath I think.

Despite being more of an attribute though, I see it as a crucial component of a still evolving formula for cinema. It is this attribute that when combined with audience-related attributes that will unleash new revenues streams for NonDē practitioners. We will leave that alone for now, but stay tuned — or chime in below. More to discuss in that realm.


How To Unleash The Tremendous Power of Non-corporate Cinema

Indie, International, Horror & NonDē cinema, by virtue of being free of corporate control, historically have functioned as a CULTURAL COURSE CORRECTORS. It is the sector of the cinema ecosystem that dares to lead an audience, to frequently not be driven by perceived market dictates, and not succumb to the all media’s ability to demand audience compliance. Such cinema is the last domain of authentic delight. It is the destination of true discovery. It is where the secret languages that create eternal bonds are forged.
