Y’all’s conversation made me want to go watch Dogme 95 films; I’ve always appreciated that school of filmmakers’ credo, but I haven’t seen many of the films. I was also at that screening in Cannes. I sat next to the CFO of MUBI. We had a very interesting discussion about "solution films." I have to admit that "Left-Handed Girl" was my favorite film during the festival, and I didn't even know it was shot on cell phones. I plan to shoot my next feature on cell phones, by the way. I may want to watch this movie again.
